Park Guell

About Park Guell

Park Guell began in 1900 as a commercial venture to create luxury housing which Gaudi had been commissioned to design. The development failed, but by 1922, the government had bought the land and turned it into a park. And what a park it is. Here one can be truly immersed in his works, blending the natural and manmade effortlessly into a fantastical vision.

Park Guell is a UNESCO listed site.
