Dan Snow's Massive London Plan

About this trip

London is a city jam packed with history and sometimes a three day weekend just isn’t enough. This five day suggested itinerary takes you to the very best that London has to offer alongside some of the British capital’s hidden gems.

Day 1

Arrive and settle into your hotel before checking out one of London’s very best museums. For a spot of lunch, consider one of Covent Garden’s options such as The Black Penny.

Day 2

A day jam packed with the big hitters and classic photo opportunities. Try a restaurant on the South Bank such as Locale for a convenient lunch stop.

Day 3

Head to the City to explore St Paul’s along with a host of London’s best hidden gems, particularly some of the best remains of Roman Londinium. Lunch options include The Crypt in St Mary-le-Bow.

Day 4

Another day out and about exploring more of the amazing places London has to explore. If you want a lunch with a difference consider Oblix Bar or Aqua Shard.

Day 5

A morning out and about before calling time on this great city. For a counter-intuitive lunch, you might want to try the Breakfast Club in Soho.
